Don’t miss Winter Park’s Bike to Work Day happening 3/7

Biking Works! Join Healthy Central Florida for a Bike to Work Day in Winter Park. All are encouraged to commute to work by bicycle that day for fitness and fun. Why not encourage your employer to field a team?

Wherever you live or work, if possible, ride your bike to work on Wednesday, March 7th.  If you can’t bike to work (too far, too dangerous),  then bring your bike on a bike rack and join fellow riders for a late afternoon Group Ride through beautiful Winter Park.  A healthy, happy hour following the ride, wraps up this annual bike bash!

Festivities begin at 3:30 pm and the Group Ride will start at 4:00 pm and last about an hour with a police escort and rolling road closures.  You’ll tour through beautiful neighborhoods, parks and along lakes. More than 250 riders are expected. Free t-shirts for the first 200!

The event is free and open to all (18 and up). Participants will receive a free event t-shirt while supplies last and residents and business from all cities are welcome to join in. There will be a PRIZE for the company that brings out the most riders – plus bragging rights. You must pre-register.
