National Bike Month is a great opportunity for all riders, new and experienced, to explore the expansive network of trails Central Florida has to offer. To find your perfect bike route, check out the resources below and get connected to maps and descriptions of trails. No matter what your riding style, there’s plenty of trails to enjoy all year long.

For the commuter

Visit City of Orlando’s map of the Orlando Bicycle Beltway and other detailed maps of other parts of the city. Or, check out CommuteOrlando for tips on route-planning and safety for commuting on a bicycle. The Orange County Government website also offers paved trail routes for commuters, including the Cady Way Trail, which stretches 7.2 miles from central Orlando to Winter Park.

For the nature lover

Seminole Wekiva Trail

If you’re looking for scenic views and abundant wildlife, check out the Seminole County trails website, which offers information on a variety of trails including the Seminole Wekiva Trail. Or, consider the Little Econ Greenway beside the Little Econlockhatchee River for opportunities to fish and canoe along the way.

For the long-distance rider

Whether you’re looking to ride from Winter Park to

Maitland or jump on

the Coast to Coast Connector, bike trails stretch across the entire state. Find trail maps of the Florida Greenways through the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Locally, take advantage of Bike Walk Central Florida’s Bike 5 Cities 28-mile route. The loop circles much of the greater Orlando metro, including Winter Park, Casselberry, Maitland and Eatonville.

For the off-road rider

Check out this resource from Visit Florida for info on the Croom trails, two loop trails that make up the longest continuous single-track mountain bike trail in Florida.
