Bike 5 Cities Rescheduled for October 3

It’s not a delay – it’s extra training time.

Bike 5 Cities has been rescheduled from its original May date, due to state and local “Stay at Home” guidelines regarding COVID-19.

Bike 5 Cities’ New Date: Saturday, October 3, 2019

Ride registration opens August 15. You may have to wait a few extra months, but this bike-centric community event is far from canceled.

If you’re new to Bike 5 Cities, it’s a 28-mile regional bike-ride throughout Winter Park, Eatonville, Maitland, Casselberry and Orlando. The annual event began as a simple idea to show riders a comfortable, quiet route to travel from city to city. Now, Bike 5 Cities is one of the biggest advocacy events in Central Florida and helps push for more bike-friendly infrastructure throughout the region. New and returning, old and young, experienced and inexperienced riders are all welcome and encouraged to attend!

We’re excited to see you in October and enjoy the cooler fall weather with the same great ride. And, this year, we’ve taken your feedback and adjusted the route to run clockwise. Can’t wait to ride? We understand. The Bike 5 Cities route isn’t just for the event – it’s a resource for comfortable riding at any time of year. Switch up your summer weekend bike-rides and try it out on your own, or hop on a smaller portion and explore new parts of your community.
