2021 Bike 5 Cities Registration Now Open

Presented by Florida Department of Transportation’s Alert Today Alive Tomorrow, Bike 5 Cities will roll again on Saturday, October 30, 2021, kicking off Mobility Week. Registration is open for a limited number of riders to take part in this unique event rolling through Casselberry, Orlando, Winter Park, Eatonville and Maitland. Bike 5 Cities is an inclusive, 28-mile bike ride to show people of all ages and bicycling abilities where they can comfortably ride in Winter Park, Eatonville, Maitland, Casselberry and Orlando.

Two Ride Options for the 28-mile Ride

Back by popular, riders will have the choice of a (1 guided, small group ride or a 2) self-guided ride. Pre-registration is required to select a start time and from which of the five cities to start. Each city will offer rest stops with refreshments and plenty of encouragement.

New Family-Friendly Five-Mile Ride

New this year, is a five-mile, family-friendly ride starting at 10 a.m. at the Cady Way Pool Trailhead. Youth-specific tips and activities will be offered prior to the ride. Ride leaders will join families along the route, and there is an option to turn back early for a bit shorter of a ride.

For the Guided, Small Group Rides and the Self-Guided Rides, choose from one of the five host city locations.

Mead Garden in Winter Park
Community Park in Maitland
Druid Park in Orlando

Town Hall in Eatonville
Wirz Park in Casselberry

The Family-Friendly Ride will start at Cady Way Pool

Rusty’s Bicycle Recycle Drop-Off and Feel Good!

Also new this year, Bike 5 Cities will accept bike donations for Rusty’s Bicycle Recycle.

Do you have an extra bicycle in your garage that you don’t ride? Or has your child outgrown their bike? We can help you de-clutter and feel great about it! This year Bike 5 Cities is partnering with Rusty’s Bicycle Recycle to collect bicycles that they will clean up, repair and give to those in need. They give away hundreds of bikes each year to low-income children at school and holiday events. They’ve also helped countless homeless and low-income adults, who use these bikes for transportation.

Bring your extra bike to Bike 5 Cities and drop it off for Rusty’s to recycle! Or contact us if you need another drop-off location or to arrange a pick-up. [email protected]
