Get Helmet Certified This Florida Bike Month! 🚴

March is Florida Bike Month! Celebrate by becoming a certified Helmet Fitter. Join us on Friday afternoon, March 7, at the FDOT District 5 Headquarters in DeLand, where certified trainer Shelby Villatoro will lead an in-person training session.

By completing this training, you’ll be ready to volunteer at helmet fitting events and gain access to free helmets through Florida’s Pedestrian and Bicycle Resource Center—empowering you to make an even greater impact in your community.

Please complete a registration form for each attendee. This will ensure we have enough equipment and your timely receipt of your certificate.

Parking is available for all meeting participants in front of the Main/Administrative building. Overflow parking is on the east side of Kepler Road and use of the pedestrian overpass is required. If you need further assistance, please contact the Kepler Complex receptionist at 386-740-3400.
