We are developing our next Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP), Volusia-Flagler 2050. The LRTP is a federally required plan that addresses future transportation needs in Volusia and Flagler counties over a minimum of twenty years. The LRTP is updated every five years to ensure that it is consistent with current and forecasted transportation conditions and needs, and reflective of public input and the community’s vision. The 2050 LRTP will be financially constrained and include projects to enhance the performance of the transportation system over the next 25 years. This virtual workshop will provide an overview of the LRTP and its progress, forecasts for population and employment, a preliminary needs assessment and discussion on the project evaluation criteria. There will be time for questions and comments.
