OC Commissioner Clarke Hosts the Second Annual Community Health Fair

Nice fall temps mean outside events and one of the best was the 2^nd Annual Community Health Fair at Cypress Grove Park on October 11, hosted by District 3 Commissioner Pete Clarke.  For the second year in a row, BFF was there along with health advocates, county services and fun entertainment.  Residents took advantage of free health screenings, and even were led in line-dancing by Orange County’s Carol Burkett!   It was a great day to get outside, enjoy neighbors and live music, while learning about the many health services that Orange County provides.

BFF’s two awesome interns, Lisa and Shelby, had it made in the shade as they talked to residents about how to teach kids to safely cross streets.  Thank you, Commissioner Clarke, for organizing this event and putting your Best Foot Forward!  Better yet, why don’t you thank him yourself by emailing him.
