Get ready to ride to work Kissimmee!

Join friends and colleagues on Thursday, March 22, 2018 for the KISSIMMEE BIKE BONANZA. Enjoy a scenic loop through Kissimmee’s vibrant downtown with colleagues, neighbors, and friends. Registered participants will enjoy a light breakfast courtesy of Florida Hospital.

Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. in the Ruby Plaza of the Lakefront Park. The event begins at 8:00 a.m.

The KISSIMMEE BIKE BONANZA is brought to you by Kissimmee Main Street, the City of Kissimmee, Osceola County Government, Florida Hospital, and reThink Your Commute, a program of the Florida Department of Transportation.

The Kissimmee Bike Bonanza kicks off a full slate of Kissimmee Weekend Birthday Bash events. This event is also part of Florida Bike Month, which is celebrated in communities around the state. Helmets are strongly recommended.

FAQs

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the Kissimmee Lakefront Park?

Biking, carpooling, or riding transit to the event are encouraged. Participants are welcome to drive their bike to the park if it’s too far to ride from home.

Several LYNX bus routes serve the Kissimmee Intermodal Station, which is a few blocks NE of the Lakefront Park. Use the LYNX trip planner at www.golynx.com or call reThink Your Commute at 866-610-RIDE (7433) for help planning your bus trip to the event.

You can find free parking along Lakeview Drive and at the Kissimmee Civic Center on East Dakin Avenue.

What do I need to bring to participate?

Once you complete the registration form, your name will be added to the attendee list. Simply check in at the registration table in Ruby Plaza before 8:00 a.m. the morning of the event.

Be sure to bring your bike, helmet, and a water bottle to the event.

What will occur in the event of inclement weather?

In the event of rain or other inclement weather, the KISSIMMEE BIKE BONANZA will be held the following Thursday, March 29th at the same time and location. Attendees will be notified by Wednesday, March 21st at 5:00 p.m. if the event will be postponed due to weather.
