Oh, how we love the month of March. Here in Central Florida the sun is shining, the flowers are blooming, and we can jump on our bikes without melting in the Sunshine State’s notoriously sweltering summers. Our favorite thing about March? It’s Florida Bike Month!
Nationally, bike month is celebrated in May, but here in Florida we beat the heat and celebrate in March. (Don’t worry, we’ll still celebrate in May with the rest of the country – double the cycling, double the celebration!) No, we promise we aren’t making this up. Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis signed an official proclamation declaring March as Florida Bike Month.
