Did you know that National School Bus Safety Week is October 19-23? While school bus safety is a priority every day, the third week in October every year is specifically dedicated to promoting school bus safety nationwide.
BWCF recently spent time with the Orange County Public Schools’ (OCPS) school bus operations team back in August at their fall conference. Executive Director Amanda Day presented to the 1300+ group about the Best Foot Forward program and pedestrian safety.
Thank you to the National Association for Pupil Transportation and schools across the country for promoting this awareness week and working to make school transportation safer for everyone.
