As the Sentinel said, “it’s only a half-mile but it’s a start.” Governor Scott, Senator Andy Gardiner, FDOT Secretary Prasad and other local leaders, including former Orange County Mayor Linda Chapin and founding chair of BWCF, gathered in Titusville to launch the construction of the $3.6 million trail that includes a pedestrian bridge spanning Garden Street.
