NPR – All Things Considered – produced a lengthy segment on region’s ped problem and detailing the steps FDOT, MetroPlan Orlando, Orange County and City of Orlando are taking to make our streets walker, biker, people friendly — especially since Central Florida was ranked #1 in preventable pedestrian accidents when looking at fatality data from 2003 to 2012.
