The Who’s Who of the trail community gathered in Winter Park on September 18 to celebrate the Coast to Coast Connector initiative happening across Florida. Trail enthusiasts, elected officials, and city and county planners traveled from as far away as Umatilla, Webster, and Center Hill to join the C2C movement. Never heard of those places? Looks like the C2C might be winding through those cities as it connects 275 miles of paved trails from the Gulf of Mexico to the Atlantic Ocean.
Bike/Walk Central Florida Founding Chair Linda Chapin and President of the Florida Greenways & Trails Foundation Dale Allen co-hosted the evening reception at Casa Feliz. Guests were treated to an exclusive sneak peak of the Coast to Coast video, which showcases the voices and images of the C2C.
