You may have already heard about the Orlando Walks Sidewalk Project. The first phase, which wrapped up in 2013, saw the installation of 17 miles of new sidewalks.
Now the City of Orlando has entered Phase 2 – which will add an additional 22 miles of sidewalks. Completing 150 different sidewalk connections. Loch Haven Cultural Park was one of the first Phase 2 locations to get new sidewalks.
Visitors to Loch Haven can now enjoy a network of widened sidewalks that connect to the Orlando Urban Trail and the SunRail station stop at Florida Hospital.
Construction has also begun in Colonialtown North and Audubon Park. Next up in 2016 is Airport North and Englewood Park.
