Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer delivered great news this week. The city applied for a $30,000 grant to create a Complete Streets demonstration project along the Corrine Drive (and Virginia Drive and Forrest Avenue) corridor.
This corridor has been talked about for years, most recently by the Corrine Calming Coalition (C3) and the Audubon Park Garden District, part of the City’s Main Street neighborhoods. No wonder because this area has enormous potential to be an economic and cultural focal point for residents and businesses, like the East End Market. This is only the first stop in creating a long-term vision and plan for the corridor. Check out more info here — Read more.
