It takes a village to make our streets more walkable – or in Vision Zero’s case, it takes a whole lot of villages. Vision Zero, a multi-national road traffic safety project that aims to achieve a roadway system with no fatalities or serious injuries, still has a long way to go, but a recent study shows that its efforts are working and that improvements to streets and sidewalks are moving things in the right direction.
