Dear motorists, we love you. We go to the same church as you. We shop at the same stores as you. We are you. For a few hours each week we morph into road cyclists. We battle the wind and road debris; all while having only the armor and protection of a helmet and our guardian angel.
We are riding for our health and for the support of others. These include those with diabetes and those with cancer and children who need help. We are preparing for these rides and raising money to help you and others like you and us.
We are road warriors, but we cannot win a joust with you. Please be patient with us, as you will be past us in a flash. We want to see you again at church or at one of our children’s school functions, or maybe see you at a game. Please watch out for bicyclists.
