All About the 2017 ‘Bike 5 Cities’ 28-Mile Ride

Bike/Walk Central Florida encourages Central Floridians to ride bikes, but we also realize that everyone may not be aware of comfortable riding routes. That’s why we’re teaming up with Healthy Central Florida on May 6 for “Bike 5 Cities,” a guided ride-along on scenic bike trails and slow-speed residential streets. This free bike event exposes riders to paved routes and trails in Winter Park, Orlando, Casselberry, Maitland and Eatonville.

The first ever ‘Bike 5 Cities’ 28-mile loop ride is full.  However, you can still join one of the shorter city rides in Winter Park, Maitland, Casselberry or Eatonville.  It’s all free and you’ll discover family-friendly routes on trails or low volume roads.

Bring your kids and join a group ride plus activities, games, snacks and refreshments.  Some cities will have face painters, bounce houses, fire trucks, goodies and give-aways. Best of all, you’ll enjoy riding together in a group on bike-friendly routes. Come solo and meet others who like to bike – or bring the kids and enjoy a kid-friendly route and distance (5.5 miles in Winter Park on the Cady Way Trail is the longest).
