It wasn’t hard to imagine what Orlando would do with less parking spaces and more parks. Because at its One Less Car, One More Park Earth Day event, it was all there to see.
There was an Urban Fitness trail with a rowing machine and a solar panel charging station. There were public art displays. Green space with lawn chairs and hula hoops. A bike-powered smoothie blender. BWCF got in on the fun and volunteer Helen Miller took a spin on the bike and blended herself a smoothie. Mayor Dyer awarded the winning parking space to Charlan Brock & Associates with their Urban Fitness Trail. Thanks, Mayor Dyer for this great event and a fun day out in the sun for Earth Day.
