Charlene Glancy, mayor of Casselberry, has named May 6, 2017, as “Bike Casselberry Day”. The city, in conjunction with Bike/Walk Central Florida and Healthy Central Florida, seeks to recognize the use of bicycles as a viable mode of transportation and is committed to incorporating the use of biking into everyday life for residents of Casselberry. By implementing the development of bike facilities in their transportation plan, Casselberry hopes to encourage people of all ages to get out and ride. Casselberry is home to the 5.5 mile Greenway Trail and boasts many roadways with dedicated bike lanes, as well as streets with shared lane markings.
