We are thrilled to present our first Impact Report for the fiscal year 2021-2022. This report encapsulates our transformative journey towards ensuring bicycle and pedestrian safety in Central Florida and highlights the heart of our community programs, advocacy endeavors, and the organizational strides of our pursuit of zero pedestrian fatalities.
Here is just a glimpse of the milestones achieved:
- We doubled the size of our team to amplify our impact
- Operation Best Foot Forward monitored and evaluated over 90 crosswalks throughout Central Florida
- Bike/Walk Kids celebrated its inaugural year
- Bike 5 expanded to include more routes for riders of all abilities
- We collaborated with the Healthy West Orange Trails Connection to support the initiation of a health-focused trails activation effort
We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our valued board members, partners, and sponsors for their unwavering support. It is through their dedication and generosity that we continue to make a meaningful impact on the well-being and safety of our bicycle and pedestrian community.
