FBA Ride Leader / Ride Marshal Virtual Certification Program

Shared from Florida Bicycle Association:

Florida Bicycle Association is bringing back the virtual certification for Florida Bicycle Month in March. The March sessions are limited to 20 participants and registration closes on February 26.

Whether you are leading a community ride, a club ride or a major charity bicycling event over multiple days, FBA has the cycling education program for you. The Ride Leader / Ride Marshal (RLRM) training and certification program is modular in approach to allow focus on relevant information for ride leader / ride marshal development. They require FBA membership for those looking to become certified and a fee of $35 to participate in the virtual format.

“We realize the pandemic has impacted the ability to ride safely in groups for many large organization charity rides as well as weekly club rides.  We also know many of you have been waiting to be FBA certified as a ride leader / ride marshal, for when cycling in groups is safe again.  Our virtual RLRM certification program is a good time to sharpen your skills and earn your Ride Leader/Ride Marshal Certification,” shared FBA.
