Local Event Company FireFly Goes “Over and Beyond” for Bike 5 Cities Riders

Bike/Walk Central Florida is rolling out the red carpet for riders during the fourth annual Bike 5 Cities social distance ride event on Saturday, October 3, 2020 in Orlando, Winter Park, Maitland, Casselberry and the Town of Eatonville.

Ride event sponsor, FireFly Creative Event Solutions will be at rest stops in all five cities and riding the 28-mile route, taking photos and videos of the riders as they make their way through Orange and Seminole Counties.

Better than that? What about interactive photo booths that go over and beyond at Mead Botanical Garden in Winter Park and Wirz Park in Casselberry for riders to capture larger than life “I Biked 5 Cities 2020” memories.

When asked what drew FireFly to become involved in Bike 5 Cities as a first time sponsor, owner Yohan Hazen said, “To be frank, I was surprised to hear the statistics. Once I was made aware of how much work we have to do in order to expand safe environments for bikers and citizens to enjoy our communities, I knew we had to get involved. Bike 5 Cities sounded like a great way to help promote awareness and advance that effort.”

The photography and photo booth service company has been serving corporate and private client event needs in Orlando and surrounding areas for the better part of a decade. Hazen says his team is committed to capturing great moments and that creating memorable experiences for clients is their passion.

Hazen says Saturday’s riders are in for an interactive experience that will be a keepsake of a great event.

Details about the bike routes and trails that make up this 28-mile route are available on the Bike 5 Cities Ride Info page, including a GPS map and Google map.

Bike 5 Cities started as a simple idea to create a bike-friendly route through the Orlando metro area to show people where they can ride comfortably. As the ride’s popularity skyrocketed, it has turned out to be an advocacy asset in the movement to push for more bike-friendly infrastructure in not only the five cities but throughout Metro-Orlando.

Because Bike/Walk Central Florida is an advocacy organization, its Board of Director and staff uses the Bike 5 Cities route map to remind public officials, local leaders and residents that people want safe, accessible places to ride their bike whether it’s in their neighborhood, over to a friend’s house, to work, or down a trail.
